Why are my column options grayed out?

I'm a part of a smartsheet that my company uses as a tracker. Part of this tracker involves data validation and a dropdown menu. Whenever I right click on the column to edit the dropdown menu etc almost everything is grayed out.

Can anyone help me with this?

You are either not an admin on the sheet or your license has expired. Are you sure you have a paid account?

I am an admin, and my license has not expired and is still greyed out.

Can you post a screen capture of the options that are greyed out for you? (But block out sensitive data.)

It is working currently. I noticed that when I do not have something typed in a cell, it goes grey. Then, when I do, it is not grey, and I can use the function. Thank you for the response and follow-up.
