Issue with converting a text/number to a number then getting it to sort properly
I took number off the front of a text string in a column using the =Left command and the number came over as text. Using =Value I converted that to a number. When I went to sort the numbers everything was out of order, zeros were random and the string start 1, 3, 4, 5 and then was grouped but appeared random.
Thougts?

The formulas I used produce a number, as after I created the column and numbers I filtered on numbers only and they all appeared. I then added a new column and put the correct number in each row, with numbers being 0-21.
Here is how they sorted:
1, 0, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 6, 18, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 6, 18, 19, 20, 21, 0, 2, 0
Not sure what form of counting it's trying to produce.
