It there a formula to use so that I can calculate an amount between dates?

I am trying to calculate the amount outstanding between certain dates, but I can't figure out what to use or if that is even possible.

Yes. Smartsheet has several functions that calculate between dates. The different functions allow you either calculate the absolute total between two dates, ignore weekends, or add an additional day if a weekend is in the range.

The basic function is NETDAYS. You can find information about that, as well as references to the other functions, here:

Returns the number of days from a start date to an end date.
