Sheet History - Does it not show when cell contents are deleted?

My sheet history said 21 rows were changed but underneath that, it only shows info for like 4 rows. Could it be that the other changes were info that was deleted?

Is it possible that it says 21 cells were changed, and that happened within 4 rows?

If rows are deleted, the Activity Log of the sheet will say "Rows Deleted", like so:

Has there been any update to allow version history to sheets? As same issue, currently users can easily delete rows and we have no way of retrieving that lost data, only a notification that a row was deleted, or doing hourly back ups which we don't want to do.

From the Activity Log you can download something called a Sheet Snapshot that will provide you with all the grid data from a specific point in time. Here's more information:

If you are a licensed sheet owner or admin, you can request a snapshot of your sheet.
