Does Smartsheet allow vlookup beyond 630 rows?

Hi,

I have a vlookup referencing another Smartsheet but the correct data is only returned up to row 630. If i am looking up a value beyond row 630 the same data is returned each time.

The formula below works fine until the value in the primary column appears in the referenced sheet beyond row 630.

Thanks in advance

    Hi @GBeavors

I hope you're well and safe!

Yes, there isn't a limit except for the total references and referenced cells.

I'd recommend starting with checking the references.

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

  • Andree,

    Thank you for your response.

What do you mean by 'except for total references and referenced cells'? I've tried moving 2 columns out of the referenced cell area in the original sheet so that the total number of referenced cells is smaller, this reduced my number of referenced columns from 18 to 16 but this does not seem to make a difference.

I've checked my references by looking up a value on row 630 and then on row 631. The results for row 631 are incorrectly a copy of 630 and this behaviour continues for all rows beyond.

    Thanks

    Gareth
