Copy and Paste Excel cells into Sheets

Hello,

I'm able to copy/paste Excel data into an existing Sheet using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V. However, if a Excel cell contains a line break, Sheets treats this as a line break for new row and not a line within the cell. I assume this is bug within Smartsheet. Does anyone know a work around?
