How do I add up individual quarterly cost?

Hi all,

I have this datasheet with all the materials I ship. I have made columns to extract the quarter. Also, if you look at the right each row has a total cost section.

I'm trying to get all the shipped items costs to be added that fall under the same qtr. So Qtr1, Qtr2, Qtr3,Qtr4 will have a separate calculation. The cells are dynamic as I have created a form for my team to add the data whenever they ship.

Any help is appreciated!

Have you looked into creating a Report from this sheet?

You can select this sheet as the Source for the Report, then Group together your Quarters (which will automatically sort all your rows in groups), and then you can use the Summarize function to SUM together the values in the Total column.
