Using Date Filters with Datatable

Happy Holidays-

My company recently added Datatable to our Smartsheet package. I started to develop a sheet that would use a date as the filter to pull data from the datatable. No matter what I do, the filter returns 0 results.

Is anyone aware of a known bug with this feature? If no bugs, can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

Here are my table settings:

Here is a sample of the Referral Date column showing the date format as MM/DD/YYYY alongside a filter search showing 0 results

Any suggestions are welcome.

    Hi @AFlint,

Regarding this post and after confirming in private that the ticket seemed to have been opened using a wrong email address, I had the opportunity to speak with our Support team and I received confirmation that the behavior seemed to have been caused by not using the ISO-8601 formatting for the dates.

As explained in "How do I load dates into my DataTable?" here, adding a timestamp in this format it a requirement for the date to be recognized in DataTable.

I received confirmation from our Support team that after updating the dates to this formatting, the filter worked as intended.

For this reason, I'll mark this question as answered.

    Cheers!

    @Julio S.

I actually opened a ticket first, then posted here. I have not received any response on the ticket at all. If you have any communication, please ask someone to look for the ticket. I will poke it from my end as well.

    Thanks.

Hi @AFlint and happy new year!

is the same email address associated to this profile the one that was used or any other address? Also if you have the case number (this should be available on the automatic response that should follow any ticket opening) I'll try to have one of our specialists to follow up on it. If you didn't receive an automatic response from the system, I'd advise opening a new case for assurance that this was received correctly.

I hope this can be of help.

    Cheers,

    Julio
