Trying to sumif after current date

Hi, i'm new at smartsheets and i've been trying to create a formula to sum a money column after the due date for it's payment has passed. I've been reading this article and trying to adapt it but failed completely.

I've tried to used a Today formula to replace the Year in the example but couldn't get the formula to work.

Does anybody know how to fix or create this type of formula?

Try something like this

=IF(Date@row <= TODAY(), SUM([Money A]@row:[Money Z]@row), "")
