Create a Searchable Phone Directory

Hi Community -

I'm interested in converting my existing excel based phone directory to a more robust, searchable phone directory on Smartsheet. Essentially, I would like for users to be able to either use a dashboard view or dynamic view (or other solution) to look up phone numbers for our hospital. The views would default to a list, sorted by an alpha split, or allow the user to type into a search bar and retrieve the applicable number.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots of the Excel file? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

This might be a little difficult to explain via email. I can share the sheets/dashboard to you though.

The excel file is a little more complicated. That being said, the current excel sheet has multiple tabs I think I can make it so that each "tab" is a different "dashboard" and have hyper links for the user to toggle back and forth; however, I was also hoping that it could have a "Search" box that would all the user to enter a keyword (i.e., "Cardio") and have the departments and numbers that meet that search criteria return.

Is that possible?
