Insert image to cell in batch

Before I write some code, I am checking if this functionality exists.

I have 400 images that will be uploaded to a Smartsheet in a batch mode.

These are to be inserted into a cell in a column, not uploaded/attached to rows or the sheet.

I only see the manual process of

• right click the cell
• select Insert Image
• select Upload a File
• repeat for next cell

Use Case 1: into a new sheet

Use Case 2: into an existing sheet's column

I am extremely doubtful there is a method via the GUI that I have overlooked.

You're correct - there's no way to bulk upload multiple, separate images into cells/rows in the UI.

After you've inserted one image you can drag-fill that same image down the column (versus needing to re-upload per-cell), but that's it as far as I know.

I solved this problem using a different solution.

I hired a human to do it by hand.
