Can one do polls on Smartsheet? If so, which template would one use?

Hi @Orisha

You can create a Form in Smartsheet that will automatically create new rows as form submissions come in. Here are some resources in regards to Forms:

• Webinar: SmartStart: Collaboration
• Collect Information with a Form

• Survey Best Practices

Then you can use the data gathered in that sheet to be the source for a Chart on a Dashboard. See: SmartStart: Dashboards

There are a couple templates in the Solution Center that include forms or surveys, but they may be a bit more detailed than what you need. Here's one example: Employee Pulse Check Survey

@Genevieve P. Hi Genevieve, I'm experimenting with how Smartsheet might be used to poll for tags on a graphic. I have the graphic in a column and I'm looking at forms but I don't see a way to display the graphic from the cell in a form?

Is the only way to see the graphic in Card View?

Hi @Jeana

There are a few ways you could do this, depending on who you're polling.

• You could add a URL in the form to go to the image.

• You could leverage Proofing to request feedback on an image (the tag suggestions would be in the form of Comments on the Row versus one row per suggestion). See: Collaborate on Content with Proofing
• You could use Google Forms to submit data to a Smartsheet sheet.
