Reasons copy/paste not functional within same tab

I'm unable to copy/paste rows from one sheet to another. I want to paste special, so using right-click 'copy to another sheet' doesn't work as I don't believe it offers that option. I've stayed within the same tab to open the target sheet. I've also tried using keyboard and mouse commands. With the former, it just does not paste and with the latter, paste is greyed out. Any advice appreciated.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to copy rows that way, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• You could use the copy row feature instead

Hi - Even simple copy/paste isn't working. If I copy a row, then open a new sheet into the tab, paste is greyed out.

As for the copy -> as link, I've used this feature in the past, and it's even described in the help files:

Apologies - it works with groups of cells, just not entire rows. All sorted - thanks for your help.
