If you put a report into a published dashboard, can everyone see the report?

If you put a report into a published dashboard, can everyone see the report? Or do I need to go in and add permissions to that report?

I'm adding the report using the short-cut widget as a link. I'm not using the report widget. I don't want to show the actual report, I just want the link there, if the viewer wants to see additional details.

Oh! That makes a difference, then. They will definitely have to have permissions for the report AND all underlying source sheets for the report in order to see it.

There are settings within the report widget to determine this. If you want everyone to be able to see it without sharing the report (and its underlying sheet) with everyone, select "last widget editor."

I should clarify - I'm adding the report as a link under Shortcut Widget, I'm not using the Report Widget.

I don't want to actually show the report, I just want to link to it, if they want to see more details.
