DATA SHUTTLE excel tabs
I set up several data shuttle to upload excel attachments for each tab. Each data shuttle will be activated immediately after adding the attachment as well as scheduled to update every 15 min. However, only the first tab gets added, most of the time. To add the other tabs I need to manually re-enter the relevant data shuttle to activate it. What should I do to ensure each time a workbook is added the data in each tab will be added.
Best regards

Hi @Mary Kam
While a Data Shuttle workflow can read from any tab in an excel file, it’s a 1:1 mapping per workflow. This means that if you want Data Shuttle to read from multiple tabs, you’ll need multiple workflows, which it sounds like you've done.
If the target sheets are different for each tab, then the workflows will run concurrently. However, if the target sheet is the same for your tabs, then each tab will run sequentially (in whatever order the webhooks arrive).
What this means is that it will take more time to see all the updates appear in the same sheet since each tab comes in one at a time. So, first you'll see the first tab update in your sheet... then it will take some time and you should see the second tab come in... and if you wait longer the third tab, etc. However you won't see all the data at once, when the first tab updates the sheet. They run one at a time. Does that make sense?
Let me know if you see the updates pull through when waiting on the sheet for about 10 minutes! If you can confirm that even after waiting none of the other tabs pull through, I would suggest contacting Smartsheet Support so you can share full screen captures of your destination sheet and your workflows.
Cheers,
Genevieve
