Index Function to return value from one column in a sheet to another column in another new sheet

I'm trying to use Index Function to locate column from one sheet to another. The index function returns a cell only and the equation is INDEX({Test Range 2}, 1) (Row 1). INDEX({Test Range 2}, 2) (Row 2),...

All I need is to generalize the equation for the entire column INDEX({Test Range 2}, n (entire column)).

Is there certain syntax to write for the entire column. (Without any helper columns)

Try something like this.

The structure for an INDEX/MATCH.

=
INDEX({ColumnWithTheValueYouWantToShow}; MATCH(CellThatHaveTheValueToMatch@row; 
{ColumnWithTheValueToMatchAgainsTheCell}; 0))

Depending on your country/region, you'll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

Thank you @Andrée Starå for the response but I'm only going to use Index Function Only not With others (Join, Collect Match,..).

What I'm targeting is to locate the cell location. similar to cell linking but the issue of the cell linking is that when I add new data to the original sheet it is not reflected automatically in the other sheet and needs manual amendments.

Is there something similar to this that can be used:

INDEX({Another sheet source}, @{Another sheet source})

OR

INDEX({Another sheet source}, 0,{Another sheet source}:{Another sheet source})
