Workspace Sharing Problem

Here's the issue I'm having.

I created a workspace.

In the workspace I added a Dashboard and several Reports.

On the Dashboard I have links to the Reports that are in the shared workspace. So, what I assumed would happen is that anyone on the shared workspace could open the Dashboard and click on the link to any of the reports in that workspace.

What happens is if a member of that shared workspace clicks on link on the Dashboard, it takes them to the appropriate report but the report is totally BLANK.

Additionally, the banner at the top of the report tells the user to request a license to view the data.

Note: the Dashboard and all the Reports are set as view only.

So, what am I missing here? Why can't my users view the shared reports?

They also require the source data for the reports to be shared with them.

If that's not an option publish the reports, this breaks the link to source data, then link to the published reports
