Setting up Bill Rates in Grid View?
I'm trying to set up bill rates by job title in Grid View, but finding the help documentation lacking in SmartSheets. Is this possible or are bill rate matrices only available in Gantt View? Basically, when I select a job title for the work to be performed (Project Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent, etc.), I want a dollar amount for that title to be applied to the labor rate field. Ideally, I'd like to set up a default matrix for company and project rates for special projects. If a matrix approach is not available, is conditional formatting the only method? Are there other approaches I might be missing? In any case, rates change over time and it would be helpful to change rates by date range as well. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi @ClarkIT
I am adding the answer here as well.
Yes, it's possible.
You could create a table in the same or another sheet using cross-sheet formulas. (VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH)
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
