License Required to Email a Row???
Several of my users are being prompted to request a license in order to email a row. This can't be right. Is anyone else having this issue?

I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, It's correct.
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- You could set up a Workflow and a helper column or columns to create something similar, and then they wouldn't need a license.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thanks @Andrée Starå
That's really stunning. I always thought unlicensed users could email rows. The strange thing is that one of my unlicensed users is able to do it.

Happy to help!
I think Smartsheet sees it as Driving a process, and therefore a license is required, but strange that an unlicensed user can send row emails.
There might be a glitch in the matrix! ;)

Ran into this issue today as well. Thanks for the idea regarding the helper column @Andrée Starå.
Thinking as I write here, would the helper column be a multi-entry Contact List field and the workflow would trigger when that field is not blank, it would e-mail the contacts in that field? Providing the specific columns.
