Custom Date Trigger - starts in past

Hello,

If I start an automation in the past, will it trigger on a date in the future?

I want alerts to go start this coming Friday 2/25, and every two weeks after that. I set my automation up like this:

Will this work?

Yes.

But you can also change the start date to 2/25/22 manually, if you are worried that Smartsheet might invent time travel and run the job two weeks ago. 😁

Thanks Jeff! Had to be sure it would start when I wanted. I'll go the route of starting it tomorrow vs in the past. Makes the most sense now that you point it out....

I am sure if anyone could invent time-traveling automations, it would be Smartsheet.
