Using Smartsheet Merge Add-on for Google Docs Problem

Hi All,

I dowloaded the add- on of Google Docs with smarsheet, and I was able to connect it successfully to my relevant sheet in smartsheet, When I tried to add the relevant data to each row in my table, from each row in my smartsheet sheet it created a new table in a new page.

Is there a way to embed the data from each row from smartsheet to the same table when I merge the docs?

Adding a Picture of my table below,

** The outcome of this page is 1 PDF File with pages in it, each page different row from my sheet instead of 1 pdf file with 1 table with 2 different rows from my sheet. **

Thank for any help! ,

Assaf

    Hi @Assaf Eitan

I hope you're well and safe!

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use multiple rows of data for the same document, but it's an excellent idea!

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

    • Suppose you can add the data from the multiple rows in Smartsheet to a so-called helper row on the same sheet or another. You could then add that row to create on document out of multiple rows.

    Make sense?

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!
