Conditional Formatting on cells based on another cell data

Hi,

The request modification is to change the color of the cells based on the following: 

1. If the Forecast Ship Date is ≤ 25 days than the Expected Shipping Date = change the cell background color to be “medium dark orange” to highlight that we are shipping earlier than the agreed contract date.
2. If the Forecast Ship Date is ≥ 25 days than the Expected Shipping Date = change the cell background color to be “light red”, this will trigger actions by the team to ensure we mitigate the delays and/or inform the team and customers there is a delay in the project.

Can this be achieved through Conditional Formatting for a Planner Sheet?

Thanks a lot for the response.

It worked for me when I created a helper column and then applied the conditional formatting.

Yes, but you'd need to add a so-called helper column with a formula to calculate the number of days and then reference it in the Conditional Formatting.
