Template set
Hi,
I've sources a template set online from Smartsheet however when I try to download them and utilise them with my current SmartSheet licence it does not recognise my account. It is not a standard template set but created by an individual smartsheet user. Is it possible to do this??
This is the template set I'm wanting to use: https://www.smartsheet.com/content/lessons-learned-template

First, make sure you're logged in to Smartsheet on the correct account in the same Browser. Then, make sure you're clicking the link that says "Smartsheet" (the other files will download to your computer).
This link will automatically open up the new Smartsheet sheet in your account (as long as you have a license that can own sheets). If you're seeing an error or unexpected screen, can you post a screen capture of what you're seeing?
Cheers,
Genevieve

I'm having the same issue. Even though I am logged in when I go to that page it prompts a login.....does it have something to do with SSO?

Hi @Bill_WS
This has to do with where the link is located; if you add your email and click the "Try Smartsheet" button it will take you through to the sheet in your account.
You can also look for templates and template sets directly in the app through the Solution Center, if that helps!
Cheers,
Genevieve

When I try to input my e-mail it says my company does not support that sign in method. If i try to use SSO, it states 'bad request'
If I look up in the solution center, nothing comes up. I looked up lessons learned....lesson....learned.....etc. Let me know if you have any other ideas or can share the template with me another way. thanks

Hi @Bill_WS
Thank you for reporting this! I was able to replicate what you're seeing. The first time I enter my email it shows a form with just a phone number, which I then skip to try and access the sheet. This is when I see the 400 Bad Request error message. I have notified our Web team about the error and they will look into this.
In the meantime, if you click "Back" from that error message (staying in the same tab) and put in your email again, you should see a proper form with all fields like so:
Since you're already signed in on the app, you should be able to leave all these fields blank and click "Try Smartsheet for Free" which will bring you to the proper sheet in your account.
I was unable to find this sheet in the Template Center as well; I believe it may be a slightly older solution. Let me know if clicking "back" and re-entering the form has worked for you!
Cheers,
Genevieve
