Formula to calculate expected percent completion without start date
Hi, I am not sure if this is possible but I am trying to calculate a percent completion based on a target date.
I want to determine how many entities should be completed by a max target date.
If the maximum target date is 12/15/22 I want to calculate how many entities/what percentage of entities are expected to be completed to date.

Hi Melissa,
You could do this with 2 "days QTY" columns (1x eoy2022>-start & 1x plan-start)
In your "expected percent complete" set the formula to divide both of these columns (EOY Days QTY / Plan Days Qty)>set to %>right click and set as column formula.

@Just_Chris I am not following what formula would be in each column
I've added the 2 columns: EOY Days Qty and Plan Days Qty

Hi Melissa here what I meant:
You can replace the last 3 columns with 1 if you want (=columns C-A / B-A), I wrote all columns in to make it more clear.
Set column C to EOY 2022 by using an automation (so you dont have to copy the date down always again).
Let me know what you think
