Report not sorting by Contact column

I have a report that pulls data from about 50 sheets. I need to sort the report alphabetically by the Name Column, which is a formatted as a Contact Colum.

It sorts by email address and not by name.

For example:

Anthony Smith with an email address of TSmith@email.com sorts in by the T and not the A.

Is there a setting I am missing?

Hi @Yvette Moreland,

You should create a helper column "Display Name" that formatted as a Text/Number column, with a formula to get display name from the "Name" column :

=Name@row

Now in the report, you can sort by "Display Name" column.
