Hi,

Is there any way to specify the "change from" value in an automation workflow trigger? For example, I need to trigger a workflow when Quarter changes from "Unslotted" to "Q2 - 2022" but not trigger it when Quarter changes from "Q1 -2020".

Add helper checkbox column called "Was Unslotted"

Workflow 1

Trigger When Quarter Changes to "Unslotted" > Action Change cell valve "Was Unslotted" Checked.

Workflow 2

Trigger Whenever Quarter changes anyvalue >Condition "Was Slotted is Checked > Action1 what you need> Action2 clear cell "Was Unslotted".

@Andrée Starå do you mean something like this?

The condition contradicts the trigger.. Status would never be New if the workflow gets triggered when it's Done.

@Andrée Starå I doubt it will work. A condition defines what the current value is, not the value before change happens. What I need is to set up a "change from" value in the trigger.

You're correct! I forgot to add that you need something like my Workaround below to make it work.
