what is the correct syntax for CCOUNTIFS to only count items where a date is blank

For example I am counting all items with a Red Status using =COUNTIFS(Status:Status, "Red")

However, I only want to count items Red if the Date Added Column is Blank.

=COUNTIFS([Date Added]:[Date Added], "", Status:Status, "Red")
