=COUNTIFS([Actionee - SAP]:[Actionee - SAP], "Jess Smith") OR [Actionee - As-Builts]:[Actionee - As-Builts], "Jess Smith")
I am trying to count the number of times Jess Smith appears in columns Actionee - SAP and Actionee - As-Builts. I keep getting unparseable. Looked at many threads and cannot find a countifs multi-column count.
Thanks in advance Paul

So got closer...
=SUM(COUNTIFS([Actionee - SAP]:[Actionee - SAP], "Jess Smith"), [Actionee - As-Builts]:[Actionee - As-Builts], "Jess Smith")
This is now counting the Actionee - SAP column but not the Actionee - As-Builts column?????

Solved it by using multiple Countifs statements and adding together.
