1 contact list for all sheets

Hello,

I have several sheets that use the same client contact list. Right now, everytime we add a new client, I have to update the list in about a dozen sheets and counting. Is there a way to have one contact sheet and all sheets can pull the contact from that sheet instead of me updating a contact list in every sheet?

Thanks for your support,

    Hi @LisakayS

I hope you're well and safe!

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

    • I recently developed a solution for a client where the Dropdown lists are kept updated using the premium app, Data Shuttle.

    Is that an option?

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @Andrée Starå,

Could this be accomplished with Vlookup? I have one sheet with the address and then the contact associated with that address called the Property Directory. The Property Directory has 2 columns, address and contact info. Can't I use Vlookup to search for the address that is on one sheet to look for a similar address in the Property Directory to get the value from column 2 which is the contact info?

    =VLOOKUP([Property Address]@row, {Property Directory Range 1}, 2, [true])

I am placing this formula (which comes up as unparseable) in one column of a sheet that needs the client contact info from the Property Directory.

I don't know what is wrong with the formula and why it wouldn't be able to pull the contact info in from the Property Directory.

    Any insight would be welcomed!

    Thanks,

    Lisakay
