Copying specific fields when conditions are met
Dear Community,
I would like to automate migration between 2 Smartsheet's, I hope you will be able to help me.
So when formula will find in both smartsheets the same project name, I would like to copy data from specific cells to another Smartsheet's (not rows unfortunately). Do you know If such thing is possible using automate option? Or maybe power automate?

I hope you're well and safe!
You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.
Another option would be to use so-called helper sheets. In short, copy the row to a helper sheet and then use my method described previously to get the values you need to another helper sheet, and then copy/move the row from that sheet to the main destination sheet.

Thank you for quick reply, I managed to play with vlookap a bit, but there are 2 walls I encountered:
-I can not create vlookap formula in the Start or End date fields - do you have idea how to make workaround here?
-Vlokap is not copying the dates, only text, but I need to synchronize dates when same value will appear:

It's because you're using the Dependencies feature. When it's activated, you can't have a formula in the Project Date columns.
