[help] How to restore a smartsheet timeline?

Hi

Ive been working with a timeline for like 3 month and today I deleted all the data and clicked "save" instead of "save a copy" - the most dumb way of loosing data. And I noted that waaaay to late to go with simple ctrl+z...

I see there might be some way to restore it by IT support - thank you in advance for prompt feeback on it.

Two options.

• Request a Snapshot in the Activity Log
• Reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team.

I hadn't thought of the Snapshot feature because it doesn't grab formulas either, but it definitely helps with the structure and static data.

There isn't any way to do it yourself other than manually following the Activity Log unfortunately.

Have you tried reaching out to Support yet?

Thanks for a prompt response!

Snapshot worked! There are no refferences (preceedors but I believe I will manage to restore it manually... Dates & tasks are there! Snapshot worked!
