Clear cell automation is not working
Hello the automation I created has a row copy to another sheet and then it's supposed to clear some cells. Currently it copies the rows but does not clear them. I have the exact same automation in a copy of this smartsheet and that one is working. Any idea on why this doesn't work? This sheet has about 20 additional rows compared to the copy sheet.

Hi All, I just fixed it by changing column property not limited to check box only, (uncheck the "restricted to checkbox"), then the Clear Cell automation is working now..

I tried modifying the automation to only clear cells (not copy) when a time is reached and it ran but did not clear the cells I wanted it to.

I had the same issue. The clear cell automation was working couple days ago but did not work today (did not change anything about the automation)

We are having the same issue. It appears that the clear cell automation is still not fixed. Like others have said, it did work previously, and the first reported problem for us happened on 4/14/22.

I have 3 separate sheets with a copy then clear cell nightly automation and am experiencing the same issue where the clear cell is not functioning, and I am not receiving a smartsheet notification that there's a problem with my automation.

If you are experiencing issues with your automations that previously ran as expected and then abruptly do not, please contact Smartsheet Support with additional information.
It would be best if you could provide them with the Sheet URL, the Workflow ID, the date/time that the workflow last ran successfully, a screen capture of that workflow set-up, and any other relevant information. They can troubleshoot with you in a private channel where you can share these details.

I thought I was crazy until I found this issue is happening with others. My clear cell automation isn't working as expected and it's been fine for the past 7 months and only realized today it hasn't worked all week. This is a major disruption to our organization because I have multiple things automatically delete out when rows are duplicated and now it is messing up all of our metrics

Same here. So frustrating to spend all this time troubleshooting when it's an issue with Smartsheet and it's obviously system wide. What about notifying your customers when automations are down? When did that go by the wayside?
