Adding a new column or row in my datasheet is colored purple
When adding a new column or row in my datasheet the color is purple. I've already tried to clear formats, and deleted all conditional formatting and have made sure that all columns are formatted with white background and black text font. Additionally if I change views to gantt chart the entire section is also purple. The task bars are the default color per branding. I can't for the life of me understand how this happened. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is "Highlight Changes" turned on and set to the color purple? It's the highlighter icon just to the right of Conditional Formatting.

Highlight Changes option is turned off.
So strange how this happend.

Hi @LisaRegina
I hope you're well and safe!
What happens if you make a copy of the sheet?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

I made a copy by doing a save as and it comes up the same way. It is indeed a purple copy. I hope to figure this out as I would just cringe at the thought of having to rebuild the sheet. If I force conditional formatting to the sheet then I can get rid of the purple but that then limits me by one condition the ability to add more conditional formatting later. I'm also wanting to use this as a template moving forward and would hate to have it setup from the beginning with this issue.

Strange!
I'd be happy to take a quick look.
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
