Mobile app update request - bar code scanner

When you get an notification for an update request, the app redirects you to a web browser for the update request. When I go to the text box to enter information, the only thing that pops up is the keyboard. Is there a function that I have enable to get the camera out to scan bar codes?

Hi @Vince W

There are three areas where you can scan barcodes in Smartsheet:

• To add barcode information to a cell
• To add barcode information in a form.
• To search Smartsheet with a barcode.

There currently isn't a way to bring up the barcode/camera to scan a barcode through an Update Request, you would need to type out the Barcode number into the Text/Number cell.
