How can I capture a date ONLY the first time a certain status is used?

Using 'Record a Date' workflow based on a "status" that may get used multiple times during the process. This results in the Start Date (recorded date) getting overwritten each time that status is used.

How can I capture a date ONLY the first time a certain status is used?

Try adding a condition where Start Date is not a date, in theory it should only fire when the date is blank

Thank you for your quick response. I took your suggestion and tweaked it just a little...I used "Start Date" is Blank. Seems to be working.
