How do I use an automation to clear the value in a drop down column?

I have a simple drop down column and need to reset it to blank in some circumstances.

However, the automation for "Clear Cell Value" does not seem to work with drop downs. Nor will "Change Cell Value" b/c you can't add a blank option to a drop down.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated, @Andrée Starå @Paul Newcome .

Ahhh, never mind. You can't have the drop down set to "restrict to dropdown values only" and have the automation clear the column.
