Decimals keep changing
I have a dropdown column that we used for style numbers. They might be numerical values or alpha/numeric values. The column has always show the value that was selected in the dropdown as it should until the last week or so decimals are being added. No matter how many times I remove the decimals from the column when new entries come in via the form the decimals keep getting added. This row is locked and the column properties has the box checked to only allow dropdown values. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to correct it. This is causes extreme issues with our reporting as it is changing our style numbers and this data is going out to vendors. We need help asap.

Have you tried Decrease Decimal?

Using the decrease decimals only changes the data that is already in the sheet. When new data is entered via the form, the data come in with decimals again. The form uses a dropdown and the "restrict data to dropdown only" is checked, yet Smartsheet is still changing the entry to contain decimals.

I've seen multiple similar posts, so it seems that there is a known issue at the moment.
@Genevieve P. I've checked the Status page, but nothing is listed, but it seems to be multiple users that are having issues.
If you haven't already, I recommend reaching out to the Smartsheet Support Team.

I submitted a ticket but the suggestion was to log out and to check my browser etc. These things will not work since all of my users are experiencing this issue, not just me.

I personally haven't experienced this or seen any reports of a known issue.
@Crystal Perry if you're working with Support already, please keep following up with them, detailing the troubleshooting steps you've tried and providing them with any screen captures / videos that they're requesting. This will be the best way to troubleshoot as you can share more detail privately in a 1:1 channel, and if you continue to respond to the same ticket/email then it will provide more context so Support can identify if other customers experiencing the same thing due to the same root cause.
