Is it possible to add a link to a smartsheet item as view only?

I have one master sheet (my department overview) into which I want to add links to dashboards in multiple other workspaces (one per project). I have one row per project and it is very simple to right click, add hyperlink and choose smartsheet item, then simply select the workspace and dashboard for the project.

However, I want these links to be view only and available to everyone in the organization (not just those with smartsheets). Is there a way to do this, other than going to each dashboard in turn, publishing it, copying the view only URL and pasting that into the master sheet?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now to do it differently, but it's an excellent idea to have the option to select a sharing option in the selection dialog.
