Smartsheet Search not Yielding Results

Hello

Can somebody confirm that they are experiencing no results when searching a sheet including search on the relevant sheet?

For the past 2 weeks I'm not getting any results for any search even though the information used for search (cellular, name; email address etc) is in the sheet. No results even after refreshing a sheet or reloading smartsheet.

My search is working as expected; I've checked in with Support and we're not seeing any other reports of the behaviour you've described. Is it possible you have a browser extension that could be interfering with the search functionality?

Hi @PharaK SupportServiceManager

Thank you for detailing your process, this is very helpful! It's expected that the Search function in Smartsheet will take around 10 minutes before newly added data can be indexed. This means if you immediately are pasting in the Client ID Number as soon as you get the Alert, Search will not be able to find the new data as it hasn't existed in the sheet long enough to be indexed fully.

Can you check that exact same number now, since it's been a while, and make sure that it shows up now?

This is unexpected behaviour, so please reach out to the Support team (here) with a video recording of your issue, along with how the ID number is being populated in your sheet. They'll be able to troubleshoot this with you.
