Email automation within smartsheet is not sending to certain contact.

We have set up the category Approval process tool so that requests can be sent for approval automatically to the inbox .The issue is that we are having to individually send them over to that inbox .We have been told that the inbox hasn't been receiving the requests

Is this email address within your organization (same domain as your email address,) or is it external?
When you say you have to "individually send them over," what do you mean by that? How are you sending them?
