Can a filter search for a specific value that shows up in any column?

I have multiple columns that of type contact list. It is possible that "John Doe" may exist in any of these columns (and possibly even in more than one of these columns in the same row). Is there a way to create a filter that will filter all the rows that contain John Doe?

Or is there a way to create a single column that contains the user of multiple columns combined, so that this single column could then be searched for a name?

Thanks in advance

    Hi @Dax67

I hope you're well and safe!

    • You could add all the columns in one filter rule, or
    • depending on your sheet structure, you could add a so-called helper column with the JOIN function to collect all values together and then reference that in the filter.

Would any of those options work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for the guidance. I will give it a shot. A question, would this solution allow the filter to work with "Current User"?

    Thanks again
