If box is checked, then drop down is updated?

I'm trying to have Status drop down pick Completed when CMPLT check box is checked on.

I have a formula for when Completed, Executed or Secured on Status drop down is chosen that the CMPLT check box is checked.

You could use a Workflow combined with the Change cell value Action instead.

Ensure that you've checked the Sheet Change Notification Settings box to Include my changes in sheet notifications in your Personal Settings (circle/profile in the lower-left corner).

That should be a great and simple solution avoiding formulae, but it also hasn't worked for me. Have you managed to solve it at all?
