Community survey results (and what we’re doing with them)

Thank you all for giving us your feedback in the recent Smartsheet Community survey launched at the end of April! Here’s what we heard: 

The Good 🟢

• You find the content on the Community valuable (we love to hear it) 
• Most of you are coming to hang out here at least once a week
• You have your support-related questions answered 75% of the time and you genuinely enjoy helping others
• You get a lot from seeing how other members are using Smartsheet to change the way they work - and your favorite part of this platform is the people (us too!) 

Opportunities 🟡

• More ways to connect easily with one another, as certain Groups haven’t provided intuitive relationship building 
• Inspiration and more creative ways to use Smartsheet
• You’d like more insight about product announcements and what’s coming
• You’d like to be able to make feature requests and see where they go
• Looking for overall improved navigation on the platform

Now the best part - here’s what’s coming in our upcoming platform revamp! 🥳

• [NEW] Product + Feature Requests Category to share, vote on and follow the status of your ideas and those of your peers
• [NEW] Events Category that will capture ALL events from Smartsheet, including our ENGAGE customer conference, User Groups, and upcoming Community-powered events while providing a space to connect across
• [NEW] Show & Tell Category dedicated to just that - showing and telling your latest and greatest Smartsheet solutions and celebrating others
• Overall new platform design, look, and feel to decrease complexities and create an easier navigation experience 

These changes will be coming in the next few weeks and we’ve got plenty of ways to celebrate, including a platform-based scavenger hunt (details to come). We’re so thankful for each and every one of you.

I like the idea of having "Product + Feature Requests Category " - I also think the "Show & Tell Category" would be a great way of providing one or more "start to finish" answers - from lengthy community posts.

I will have to check my notifications as I somehow missed the survey 🙄

😁I'm really looking forward to "Product + Feature Requests Category ". I don't know how many times I see a certain request in the community post and for years it's still not yet build 😫

Hope this will help smartsheet development team understand which feature is important to us and will prioritize.
