How to update a row with a form

Is there a way to use a form to update a previously submitted entry. For example say were recording service call requests and after submission an update is needed by the end user of the form for the time or date. Alternatively is there a way to populate a form from the smart sheet make the updates in the form and resubmit?

Use google forms with the edit submission option checked and use the google forms/smartsheet connection to update the smartsheet?
