Cell Linking issue between Intake sheet & Summary sheet (Control Center)

I have an Intake sheet that is tied to Control Center with about 20 links to a Summary sheet, that is part of a blueprint. At the moment we have almost 400 records on the Intake sheet. So I it appears to be about 8,000 links on the sheet.

I am having issues with the cell linking not working if the Intake record is updated. The information is not flowing down to the Summary sheet. In reading through posts could my problem be related a 5,000 link limitation on the Intake sheet?

If so, I am guessing I will need to archive older requests.

Can someone please confirm?

Is it linked directly from the intake sheet to the summary sheet, or is it being pushed from the intake sheet to a metrics sheet (per project) and then from the individual metrics sheets to the summary?

It goes from the Intake (Many) to Project Summary/Metadata (One) to Summary Roll-up/Metrics (Many).

Ok. So it sounds to me that updates should be made in the metadata sheet as opposed to the intake sheet.

To add to Paul's excellent advice/answer.

The flow should be Intake to Project Plan to Summary Sheet, so usually, the update is made on the Intake Sheet, and that changes in the Project Sheet, and then that changes in the Summary Sheet.

Isn't that how it's structured at the moment?

@Andrée Starå - to answer your questions.

1st - to the structure, yes that is the way it is set up. It was working up til recently.

2nd - 290 rows and counting, 61 columns

@Paul Newcome - What is driving this is sometimes the requestor makes a mistake, so the original set up was a Cell Link so that I could just update Intake, if I had to, and have it feed throughout. However, if I cannot figure this out I may have to switch to a One Time Write and update via the Metadata sheet.

Did you double check that none of the links are missing. Do you have the little blue arrows in the metadata sheet as well as the Summary Sheet?

Yes, all the input and output arrows are in place. When I click "Link from Cell in Other Sheet" it points me to the correct cell and value. However, the current sheet is not being updated. It still reflects the incorrect value from the original submission.

If the links are still there but the data itself is not refreshing, I would suggest reaching out to Support.

Thanks. That is what I did and apparently they are overwhelmed. They did raise my cell link limit to 100,000 but that is really not the issue. I only have about 50 inbound links on the Metadata (Summary) sheet.
