Can not access child rows.

One user in our group can not access the child rows. What might be the problem?

Make sure the user has the applicable access to the main sheet and subsequent report/s. Not entirely sure what you mean by not being able to access the child rows. Like they can't even see them or they can't edit them?

  • Thanks Jake. What do you mean by "user has the applicable access to the main sheet?" When my engineer click on the parent row "+" the child rows do not drop down. It is only with this one engineer, all the other engineers and project managers have not problem accessing the "child" rows in SmartSheet. Everyone have the same permissions. I think he is still using the trail version and not the enterprise version. I will double check with him.

Make sure no filters are on that are 'hiding' the child rows. It sounds like the correct access/permissions are there.

  • Will do. Thanks again.
