SUMIFS from another sheet

I have a sheet the I would to see the sum of the total hours for an individual. This references a log of hours on another sheet. Is this the right formula. I'm getting an incorrect argument. I renamed the range columns to better share what I am trying to do.

=SUMIFS({Hours of Service}, {StudentID,"864728",>0})

=SUMIFS({Hours of Service}, {StudentID}, @cell = "864728")
