Pasting hyperlinked text between smartsheets

I am trying to copy and paste hyperlinked text between smartsheets. All I am able to do is paste the text and not the hyperlink that was attached to the text.
I have tried pasting special and that has not worked either. Thanks for any advice you may have!

After copying a hyperlinked URL in SmartSheet (which was created with CTRL-K), I was able to right-click in another cell and choose Paste Special and chose Value. It worked for me.

I was also successful when copying a URL that was just copy-pasted normally and not the CTRL-K feature. I'm not sure why Paste Special (Values) isn't working for you.
