Why is the formatting for the list in the description edit field different than in the form?

The field settings view should match the form view, the field settings are where the edits are made.

    Hi @Charlene Stacy

    There currently isn't a way to set the spacing between letters or lines in a Form Description field; the default spacing is what will appear in the actual form (your image on the left).

    You can submit your feedback on the additional spacing appearing in the edit box to the Product team by creating an Idea Post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic here in the Community, identifying what your ideal scenario would look like. This will allow other users to vote on your request!
