Is there a way to make an organizational chart in Smartsheet?
Or do we need to start with an excel file (organizational chart template) and import it to Smartsheet? I didn't see any organizational chart template in Smartsheet's Solution Center.
We have one for our team in Smartsheet. Unfortunately, my colleague created it, so I don't know if she used an excel base or created it from scratch.
@Heather_Verde do you have an example that you can share? Remove any personal information, but it would be helpful to see how this formatted.
@Matt Kirby we basically use the hierarchy rollup. I'm sure you could add other data and use a report or make it prettier some way in a dashboard. We have something similar to this published on our dashboard for our team so that people know who they can go to for what and when they are available. I've been trying to do a simple check of whether or not the entry from the form has a returned value that is either yes or no and it checks 3 cell locations to see if any returned yes. The 3 columns are Dropdown lists for Yes/No and the Status is a Text/Number, is that the issues? If not how do i fix that?
I'm wondering if there is a way to lock rows 1-12 out of the sorting and filtering of a sheet. I might have take out that part of the from otherwise I dont like how the built in dashboard moves when a sort or filter is applied?
